Change is always possible if given the right support. I find that therapy should be spiritually fulfilling, as well as emotionally grounding and practical. So often by healing past traumas and losses, we are freed of current struggles. It is important to explore the past, yet also remain firmly rooted in the present. I use a variety of creative techniques to develop a therapy that is specific to you and your needs and addresses the past, keeps us present and allows creative imagining of the future. Therapy is an amazing journey of self-discovery and I am honored to do this work! My work includes: trauma/abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, spiritual growth, dream work and life transitions. Free Consultation. Sliding Scale Available.

How available are you to support your loved ones, or even yourself? Thoughts may run through my mind every day, fostering fear, anger, stress, and depression and can be very distracting. Life kept throwing me curves, and then in 2004, I found The Work of Byron Katie, which changed my life forever. Byron Katie is a 64 year old woman who discovered that when she believed her thoughts, she suffered. She created The Work, a simple process of inquiry that clears the mind by identifying and questioning stressful thoughts. Who would you be without your story? I'm trained in The Work of Byron Katie and enrolled in Facilitator Training at People House. Please visit Byron Katie's website www.thework.com to learn more about The Work.

Your emotional wellness really does matter. Most people want someone to help them function better, to improve their ability to connect with themselves and others more effectively, and to cope with everyday stresses. Choosing the most effective therapist to work with you in your emotional healing is a really important part of the process. Nearly everyone is looking for an experienced professional they feel they can trust. My style is one of warmth and genuineness. I listen carefully and with compassion, as well as offer feedback. I am experienced in issues of shame, sexual trauma, grief and loss, parenting and women's issues. We all need help in making changes and we can't always do it alone. Healing is possible and I help people who are suffering.
