What's New at People House
New Web Site Coming Soon
The new web site has been delayed slightly because of some unforeseen circumstances. People House did not want to make public a website that was not up to our standards. Please check out our current site for an updated list of Private Practitioners, workshops and Heart of Service events. We hope this does not cause an inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Professional Development Series
All licensed Mental Health practitioners in Colorado must complete 40 hours of Continued Professional Development every two years. People House is proud to offer the Professional Development Series (PDS). Please visit our Professional Development page for information on our upcoming workshops.
Lunch with the Author
March 8 we will be featuring Dianne Maroney, author of The Imagine Project: Stories of Courage, Hope and Love. Proceeds benefit People House. Please visit our Lunch with the Author page for information on the event.

Affordable Counseling Internship Program
You are invited to apply for an unpaid, clinical internship placement with us if you are a Master's level student in counseling, psychology or marriage and family therapy. Our internship program is a clinical training program with emphasis in applying theoretical knowledge gained from academic training to the real-world experience of working with a client directly. Interns serve in the People House Affordable Counseling Program, our out-patient, psychotherapy practice, which serves a diverse population unable to afford regular priced psychotherapy. For information, please visit the internship program information page.
Counseling Office Space Available in People House Aurora Location
Did you know People House has expanded into a second location? The new facility is located at 13693 E. Iliff Ave., Suite 112, in Aurora – just east of Heather Ridge Golf Club. We are so pleased to be able to offer the Affordable Counseling Program and the Veterans Reintegration Program to the Aurora community and provide opportunities for our professional practitioners to expand their practices. If you are a healing professional interested in establishing your practice in Aurora, give Katie Brown a call to inquire about renting a counseling office. Offices are located off of a sun drenched atrium and are available by the hour, day or full time lease. All renters have access to a free on-site conference room. Katie Brown, Executive Director: 720-333-5130. We look forward to welcoming you into the People House community!
